"For my daughter's Cambridge Hen Party Orlene's Kitchen Cafe did the most wonderful Jamaican/British fusion afternoon tea. The food was delicious and included Jamaican patties and rum cake plus sandwiches and Victoria Sandwich cake. We had beautiful china plates, cups and saucers, and teapots. They looked after us really well, we had a fun time. Thoroughly recommend!"

Our Story

Hi, I'm Orlene, and this is my kitchen — literally. For years, I've been catering events across Cambridge, bringing the warmth and flavors of Caribbean cuisine to celebrations, family gatherings, and special moments. My husband Leon and I realized something: people didn't just want great food, they wanted a place that felt like home. A place where authentic Caribbean hospitality wasn't just on the menu — it was in the air.

So we opened Orlene's Kitchen Cafe right here in central Cambridge, near The Guildhall, where locals, students, and visitors could gather, connect, and experience genuine Jamaican fusion food in a space that's warm, welcoming, and unapologetically ours.
